THE SPRING EQUINOX AND YOUR HORMONES

As Mercury is set to retrograde between 22nd March and 15th April, there’s no better time to take control of your energy and transform it from negative to positive.
The spring equinox signifies the increase in daylight; symbolic of light and darkness, the earth’s cycle around the sun represents new life and new beginnings.
Some women believe the Spring equinox plays a vital role in their menstrual cycle, but there is no scientific evidence to prove that.
The period tracking app, Clue, studied 7.5 million cycles and found no link between the lunar cycle and our cycle, instead they appear similar because each of them are around 29 days long.
Often we will curse our cycle, not realising the negative impact it plays on our internal energy. According to spiritual healer, Tasneem Shah: “By cursing your body, you are simply inviting negativity, which affects everything you do. Young women in particular don’t love themselves the way they should.”
Tasneem advises to reject the belief that your menstrual cycle is a burden, and instead accept it as a natural, fortifying process of nature. Your hormones will eventually sync with your positive thought process, shifting your hormonal cycle into a calmer rhythm.
